PLS Check Cashers

Angela treats her customers right👍 she’s on point when it comes to providing her customers with the best service possible. She’s very polite and is very quick with cashing our checks. She made me feel super comfortable the minute we stepped into PLS. 10/10 would recommend going here and getting cashed out checks with her. This location treats you like family.

Today some men did some work at our house in the yard. My father in law wrote the check. When I handed it to them they asked for a phone number in case you guys wanted to contact us. I wrote my number in the closet pen to me. It happened to be different then the one the check was written in. The men were concerned about cashing it . While they were in transit it I reached out to this location. I spoke to a young lady. She was very kind. She said as long as the phone number wasn't written over the amount of the check. She felt like it wouldn't be an issue. About 20 minutes later the men called me back stating that someone at the check cashing place told them no that it was in a a different pen that they wouldn't cash the check. So I told them he would rewrite the check if they came and picked it up. After I got off the phone with them. I recalled the location and spoke to a different young lady. She said hold on. Let me hand you to my manager. The manager stated that the reason that she denied the check was because they said they did the work for me the check was written by my father in law. I told her that my father in law is disabled and blind and cannot walk to and from the door. That even though the dealings were with me my father in law was the one that paid because he can't get to the door so I do the door and do all the things for him. She gave me issues. I even offered for her to speak to my father in law. She said no. I was obviously upset. So she asked for me to hold. Well she didn't put me on hold. She proceeded to talk bad about me to her coworkers because she didn't realize I wasn't on hold. It wasn't until I screamed into the phone did she hear me. She hung up on me. Then proceeded to not answer the phone when I called back. I am not happy about this transaction.
